Biography
Overview:
Umut is a senior associate in our Dispute Resolution practice in Istanbul. Umut focuses on commercial litigation. He has represented local and foreign corporations and conglomerates in a wide range of sectors including financial institutions, technology and social media platforms, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, chemicals and energy before Turkish courts and administrative authorities.
Umut has particularly worked on white collar crimes, administrative disputes, shareholder disputes and disputes related to management and direction of corporations. He also represents clients and provides day-to-day legal advice on international arbitration, corporate and commercial law related matters as well as intellectual property, inheritance law, employment law and administrative law matters.
