International Public Offering Transactions and Share Issuance Training

We hosted our clients and the friends of the firm at a training and networking event focused on initial public offerings in international equity capital markets. Held at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel in Istanbul, the event proved to be a very popular opportunity with more than 100 people attending from international and local investment banks and intermediary institutions, conglomerates and Turkish holdings, potential issuers as well as regulators.
Mr. Attila Köksal, the former chairman of Turkish Capital Markets Association and a previous director in Borsa Istanbul and a key figure in Turkish capital markets, delivered the welcoming speech. We were very grateful to receive his insight into the current status of Turkish and international capital markets and hear his expectations for the future. Following Mr. Köksal’s presentation, Mr. Derin Altan, Head of Capital Markets at Çakmak – Gökçe Avukatlık Bürosu, which works in association with White & Case for Turkish law matters in Istanbul, gave an accelerated training session on international initial public offerings covering the crucial matters that participants need to be aware of. The presentations were followed by a networking event.
